A scientific exposition of a literal interpretation of genesis 1-2:7

The purpose of this piece will not to include various theories of interpretation.  It will simply be the scientific implications of a literal interpretation of the text.

Day 1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."

"In the beginning"  as soon as time began. Time does not start until existing things move.
"God" Elohim.  A simple description of God would be "He which is greater than everything which is possible to conceive."
God is not simply the first person.  First, because Elohim being plural implies a plural person.  Which we understand as to be explained in the revelation of the trinity.  But more importantly  God is the original substance.
1 timothy 6:16 who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen."
Typically when you here people discuss creation "ex nihilo" "out of nothing" we envision some sort of nothing substance and God as a spirit dwelling in nothing.  This is illogical.  nothing is not a thing.  It does not exist, hence it is nothing.  So the only substance to be found is the Godhead or divinity of God.  Instead of the irrational proposition of space/time moving through nothing.  We understand that all things are within the Godhead and God is stretching them forth.  God is creating from nothing in the since that there was nothing that God used.
"created the heaven and the earth"
Here we see that there are now 2 created substances.  They are not transcendent but limited substances.  Heaven and Earth.
now heaven and earth are not in the present state.   In fact the earth which we usually associated with solidity is formless and void.
What of the heaven?
with hints from the rest of the chapter, this is neither the sky nor our current understanding of the cosmos.  This would be the substance articulated by the Greeks and early scientists known as the ether.
"According to ancient and medieval science, aether (Greek: αἰθήρ aithēr[1]), also spelled æther or ether, also called quintessence, is the material that fills the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere. The concept of aether was used in several theories to explain several natural phenomena, such as the traveling of light and gravity." wikipedia
What is the earth?
The Earth in this context is not exclusively soil.  It is formless and void.  The earth simply is matter; both solid and liquid.
"darkness was upon the face of the deep."  So the original color of the substance "deep" is dark or black.
"And God said,"  Here we see God using the Word as a vehicle for creation.
psalm 33:By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap:
he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord:
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spake, and it was done;
he commanded, and it stood fast.
Isaiah 55:11 "so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
john 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."
As we observe in the New Testament, the Word(logos) is in fact the Divinity of Christ operating.
It should also be noted that the creative force of the Logos is miraculous.  He is not subject to the laws of nature since nature is being created under Him.
"Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters"  The Spirit Of God or as future revelation reveals "Holy Spirit"  is an immanent manifestation of God inside space and time.
"Let there be light"  this was not star or sunlight since they did not exist.  This was light energy.  This energetic substance of light filled the aether.  The observable universe is filled with the substance known as plasma.

"Plasma (from Greek πλάσμα, "anything formed"[1]), according to natural science, is one of the four fundamental states of matter (the others being solid, liquid, and gas). When air or gas is ionized, plasma forms with conductive properties similar to those of metals. Plasma is the most abundant form of matter in the Universe, because most stars are in a plasma state.[2][3]
Plasma comprises the major state of matter of the Sun. Heating a gas may ionize its molecules or atoms (reducing or increasing the number of electrons in them), thus turning it into a plasma, which contains charged particles: positive ions and negative electrons or ions.[4] Ionization can be induced by other means, such as a strong electromagnetic field applied with a laser or microwave generator, and is accompanied by the dissociation of molecular bonds, if present.[5] Plasma can also be created by the application of an electric field on a gas, where the underlying process is the Townsend avalanche.
The presence of a non-negligible number of charge carriers makes the plasma electrically conductive so that it responds strongly to electromagnetic fields. Plasma, therefore, has properties quite unlike those of solids, liquids, or gases and is considered a distinct state of matter. Like gas, plasma does not have a definite shape or a definite volume unless enclosed in a container; unlike gas, under the influence of a magnetic field, it may form structures such as filaments, beams and double layers. Some common plasmas are found in stars and neon signs. In the universe, plasma is the most common state of matter for ordinary matter, most of which is in the rarefied intergalactic plasma (particularly intracluster medium) and in stars. Much of the understanding of plasmas has come from the pursuit of controlled nuclear fusion and fusion power, for which plasma physics provides the scientific basis."wikipedia plasma
"God saw the light, that it was good".  This energetic plasma light had many dimensions.  This energy likely holds the spiritual realm within it.  After all, the realms of hades and spirits are created but immaterial.  This and the fact that occult fascination has always focused on electro-magnetic energy.  At this point the spiritual realm is determined good.  Once again, the moral implications point to the spiritual nature.
"God divided the light from the darkness"  As this energy in the plasma would manifest it would travel.  where ever it would light up there would be no darkness.  Where ever the light had left, there would be darkness.
"God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night."
Day is a period of time.  24 hours across the earth.  So the plasmatic light would race from once side of the aetheral heaven to the other. Evening with one half revolution; morning the second half.  So the first day was when the plasmatic light raced from one side of the universe to the other.  This revolution of the universe would operate as such for the first 3 days until interrupted by the creation of the sun moon and stars.

 Day 2

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."
"Firmament"  meaning an expanse.   The liquid body below is mixed in solid matter.  The waters above are an unknown quantity perhaps also in a mix of solids, liquids and gases.  In the vast expanse they are frozen when dark and burning when light.  Further revelation reveals that a canopy of these waters is protecting earth from the celestial realm which would be obviously radioactive.
Job 37:18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong,
and as a molten looking glass?"
"and called the firmament heaven"  here we have a singular heaven which is the firmament.  Yet later in the text heaven will become plural.  So as shown in genesis one we have an ethereal heaven and and atmospheric firmament heaven.  Separated by a strong canopy.

Day3
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day."

The waters gather into the seas and the earth emerges.  This is specifically focused upon the "dry" earth as the continents are hoisted out of the sea. While the sea sinks downward. It should be notticed that All the oceans connect in "one place".  The earth brings forth plant life.  Plants are not seen as living like animals and people due to their lack of motion and spirit.  Here the plant is seen as emerging from the earth instead of evolving from the water. It is important that the canopy was erected first to protect plant-life from the cosmic radiation.

Day 4
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."
"let there be lights"  the stars are not created in a sequence, they are created simultaneously.  The plasma-tic radiation is now organizing itself into the stars.  These stars are all electrically connected as put forth by plasma cosmologists.   They are connected much like and orchard of grapes or the lights of a Christmas tree.
They are intelligently designed to give us the ability to detect time and record history.Through the creation of the sun and moon we also see the continuation of the day cycle smoothly transition to our current cycle.  The sun illuminates(rules) our earthly atmosphere while the moon illuminates(rules) our celestial atmosphere.
psalms 148: Praise ye him, sun and moon:
praise him, all ye stars of light.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens,
and ye waters that be above the heavens."
So now this further revelation reveals to us that the etheral heaven is incase in a water canopy.  Probably a frozen gas.
This further revelation shows that there is a water canopy encasing the universe(heavens).  Most likely an encasing of gas. The lights in the firmament is referring to the Aether expanse of the universe which was filled with electromagnetic plasma From here God has set forth the stars and planets and other cosmic bodies.

Day 5
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day."

"the waters bring forth" this admits to the chemical fact that animals and people are mostly liquids in nature.  "the moving creature that hath life" points us to the fact that life or spirit is in the moving lifeforms.  "fowl" or birds are created.  It is interesting to note that the stars being organized would imply a certain order to the earth's electromagnetic field would this be done in order to help birds navigate their migration patterns?  I have seen studies on Monarch butterflies that implies such an adaptation. Obviously the trees were in place the previous day for the fowls to land.  Though their divine origin does not have them starting from the land,  though it will be breeding there.  "Whales"  Would not be limited to whale mammals, but include other great fish as well. "every living creature that moveth"  is a good generalization, for all the aquatic life. "after their kind".  We see a general order that stays in place.  their

Day 6
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

"Let the earth bring forth" here would be referring to land animals.  Cattle is probably limited to mammals unless another animal can fulfill the grazing functions of cattle. "creeping thing" would be a reference to all invertebrates and insects. The "beast of the earth" would be left over mammals and reptiles."after his kind" Sets limits upon speciation.  This is in opposition to the pagan and evolutionary worldviews.  Yet the kinds have never been observed to be bred into other kinds.
Man is the only representation of God in creation. Being after the likeness of the Elohim, mankind is granted dominion over creation.  Man is the focal point of creation,  man would have no Glory if God had not made creation for man to have dominion over. "and behold it was good"  The creation week created life, there was no death but a continuation of more and more life.

Day 7
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."
"finished"  Creation was a specific time and act.  This was not some bizarre allegory for the ongoing process of life.  It happened once and God achieved the goals of it's design.  Yes, there will be alterations in the future. But not in terms of God creating the universe.  There may be a creative miracle here and there,(christ turning water into wine), but they will be few and far between."from all his work" God was not resting as if he had run out of power. By resting He refrained his work.  The universe was created separate from God.  The substance of God is "holy" or set apart from creation.

"4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."
This is the written record of creation which Jehovah had provided to Adam. "Had not caused it to rain upon the earth" the rain cycle would not start until after the flood.  The earth was watered internally through a system of springs.  The was due to the earlier erection of the ice canopy.

On man
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Man is created independently from the creatures of the earth.  The breath of life is the insertion of "spirit into man from God.  It should be noted that the "earth bring forth" and "waters bring forth" is due to the fact that God is an invisible spirit and so it appears as if the earth and waters were bringing forth the creatures as He was creating them.
So as a result of the combnation body and spirit we have the identity of the "living soul", this is the tricotomy of man. (body, soul spirit).

This is the initial reason we(mankind) know to Glorify God.
